Lynne Rowlands v Registrar of Companies & another

Ms Rowlands was deceived by suspected fraudsters into sending GBP 55,971 to the HK HSBC bank account of Marcel Network Ltd in 3 transfers in May-Aug-2014. After that, HSBC froze the account and the company was struck off on 17-Apr-2015. As there is still money in the account, Ms Rowlands has successfully applied to restore the company to the register so that she can make her claim against it.
