HKSAR v Ma Ka Kin
HK Court of Appeal, 11-Aug-2021

HKSAR v Ma Ka Kin
HK Court of Appeal, 23-Apr-2021
Justice Kevin Zervos grants leave for Mr Ma to appeal. The DoJ objects to admission of the transcript of Ma's original successful application for reversal of his guilty plea after he changed lawyers. Zervos overrules this as it is "relevant to the consideration of whether there has been a miscarriage of justice."

HK Court of Appeal, 21-Jan-2021
Mr Ma is granted legal aid for his intended appeal. His application for leave to appeal is opposed by the Department of Justice.
