Former director Mr Quang succeeds in a claim for defamation and is awarded HK$80k. JNC and Mr Jebsen succeed in counterclaims for loans due of HK$10.9m. The court finds that JNC was justified in firing Mr Quang, who had used the company to obtain a bridging loan for his purchase of a house in Australia (subsequently repaid) without shareholder approval.
