Ng, Robert Hung Sang 吳鴻生

South China (China) (0413) lends HK$78m to South China Land (8155)
Company announcement, 15-Mar-2011
The South China group continues to justify its reputation for bad corporate governance. If SCC has surplus cash, it should return it to all shareholders, not lend it to a sister company. Mr Ng could then lend his share of it to SCL if he wants. SCC claims this loan is on "normal commercial terms" - in which case, SCL should be able to borrow from a bank on those terms - but can it?
