Ms Shek Wai Yan, of AIA, suspended for 2 months
MPF Schemes Authority, 11-Aug-2016
She was earlier convicted and fined HK$9,200 for making a false and misleading statement to the MPFA to obtain account information without an MPF member's authorisation. She appealed against being named by the MPFA in a press release; the appeal was dismissed and she was ordered to pay HK$10k of costs, much less than the MPFA had asked for, as the Appeal Board "finds it difficult to accept the requirement for counsel's attendance in this case".
